When Margaret 'Maggie' Teehee was born on November 30, 1899, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her father, Charles, was 42, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 21. She married William Lawson Fritts on April 6, 1918. They had three children during their marriage:
- 1. Clare Eva FRITTS, b. 9 Feb 1924, Tahlequah, Cherokee Co., Oklahoma, d. 15 Oct 2006, Tahlequah, Cherokee Co., Oklahoma
- 2. Perry E. "Sog" FRITTS
- 3. Dwain "Dude" FRITTS
