Hannah Tate was born 19 Mar 1754 at Mill Creek, New Castle upon Delaware, daughter of Quakers William Tate and Martha Dixon .
Hannah was raised a Quaker, but was disowned by them in 1782 after she married Solomon Tharp, a Baptist Preacher, and gave birth to child Ruth. The marriage was before 1 Jan 1782 (card file at Delaware Public Archives used the 1st of any month to signify "married by stated date" based on another document of that year).

Hannah Tharp passed away in 1835 in Logan County, Ohio, USA and is said to be buried in Reames-Norton Cemetery, at Cassopolis, Cass County, Michigan, USA, although there is no image of her stone.

The date 1782 for marriage in the Delaware Archives card file is probably from Will of William Tate, New Castle County, Delaware Wills, 1682-1800:

Tate-4032 and Tate-842 appear to represent the same person because: same dates and parents names, other merges are needed. Duplicate husbands also need merging.
Tate-4032 and Tate-842 are not ready to be merged because: Again, they seem to be about the same people but I think there may be a problem with her spouse and his parents. I'd like to leave it this way until I finish my research. I still need to research the people that the other profile states as correct.
