Etienne was born about 1737. He was the son of René Thibodeau and Anne Boudreau.
He married Marie Thibeau, daughter of Yves Thibeau and Marie-Françoise Melanson, on 18 October 1774 in Baie-Ste-Marie. [1]
He was alive as of March 25, 1805 when he, his wife, and two sons, Joseph and Jean conveyed land in Clare to Anselme Doucet.[2]
