Biography

When William Edgar "Eddie" Thomas was born on July 19, 1892, in New Brunswick, Canada, his father, William Thomas, was 44 and his mother, Sarah Crabb, was 24. He married Ina H. on May 13, 1920, in Maine. They had two children during their marriage. He died on December 16, 1956, at the age of 64.

In 1901, W. Edgar Thomas was 9 years old and lived in Wicklow, Carleton, Canada with his father, mother, 4 brothers, and sister.(1)

In 1910, William E. Thomas was 17 years old and lived in Milo, Maine with his father, mother, and 4 brothers.(2)

William Eddie Thomas was living in Milo, Piscataquis, Maine, when he registered for the World War I draft on 5 Jun 1917.(7)

He enlisted on Dec. 20, 1917, and served in Company 20, 3 Mechanics Regiment Air Service as a Pvt. First Class, and was honorably discharged July 10, 1919. (6)

In 1930, William E. Thomas was 37 years old and lived in Abbot, Maine with his wife, Iva, son, and daughter. (3)
