Zachariah was born in 1770. He was the son of Hans Thoma and Sarah Unknown. About 1794, based on birth of first child, Zachariah married Susannah - assumed to be a Caruthers. Name of wife taken from deed Franklin County, Georgia 1808 a deed of sale from Zachariah Thomas and his wife, SUSANNAH to Enoch Brady selling 40 acres on Nails Creek. By 1820 the family has moved to Perry County, Tennessee.[1]
In 1830 they are residing in Hardeman County, Tennessee.[2]
He passed away about 1836-1837 as 1836 was the last year he appeared on the Hardeman County, Tennessee tax list.
