So, based on DNA, somehow my ancestor, John Thomas, (1752-1830) is related to William Madison Thomas (1763-1835).
I haven't figured out who John Thomas' (born in 1752) dad is yet. But he's related by DNA to many Thomas's in this specific family of Thomas'. Ancestry Family Trees has him being the son of John Thomas (1710-1793); however, he is not listed by name in John Thomas' Will in 1793. However, I know somehow my mom is related to John Thomas (1710-1793), because we are DNA cousins with his children's descendents. And somehow we are related to Anna Maria Blanckenbuhler Thomas Kaifer because we are related to 2 Kaifer daughters from her marriage to her 1st husband; DNA cousins with some of her Thomas children with Johannes Thomas.
