Biography

Herbert Roy Thompson was born on 12 May 1909[1] in Wallambine Common, St Albans, New South Wales, Australia as the second child of Matthew John Thompson and Lavinia May Bailey. He had nine siblings, namely: Cecil Hopetoun, Doris Ann, Joseph Carl, Amy Irene, Hannah May, Amelia, Rose, Eva, and Matthew John. He died on 17 Jan 1975[2] in Wyong, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 24, he married Alice Bailey, daughter of David Hilton Bailey and Amelia Millicent Filby, on 24 Feb 1934[3] in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.

Burial: Find A Grave: (135167464)[4] He was buried in Palm Dale, New South Wales, Australia (Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park)
