Biography
James was born in England in 1828. James was baptised on 31 July 1831 in Blakeney Church Blakeney Norfolk England. He was the son of James Thompson and Elizabeth (Thorn) Thompson.
He married in Victoria, Australia, in 1859[1] and died there in 1897[2].
When James was about 31 he married Anne Gardiner on 3 September 1859 in Rev Joseph Beer's Residence Dunolly Victoria.
James was buried on 11 November 1897 in Eaglehawk Cemetery Victoria.
