Emma Thompson was born on 30 Sep 1855 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia as the third child of John Matthew Thompson and Sarah Walters. She had nine siblings, namely: Elizabeth Jane, Richard, Susannah, Rebecca, John Matthew, William Pearson, Aaron, and Emily. She died on 09 Dec 1877 in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 17, she married Thomas Casson, son of Thomas Casson and Jane, on 10 Dec 1872 in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia.

Thomas Casson and Emma Thompson had the following children:

  • Thomas Casson was born in 1874 in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia. He died in 1938 in Warialda, New South Wales, Australia. He married Ellen Anderson in 1898 in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia.
