In 1841, Helen is age 1, and is living with her parents at St Anns Well, Strathaven, and her siblings - Robert age 4, Jean age 6, and also David Thomson age 14, who was a Cotton Handloom weaver (Possibly a cousin ?)
In 1851, Helen is a scholar at age 10, still living with her parents and siblings - Eliza age 22, Jean age 16, Robert age 14, Archibald age 9, Andrew age 7, Janet age 5, and James age 2, in Strathaven.
She marries Thomas Fraser Barrie in Strathaven, in 1860.
