Biography
Zula (Tidwell) Fendley was born in Appalachia, in Alabama.
Zula Kansas Tidwell was born December 8, 1879 to Thomas Tidwell and Mournin Cynthia Tidwell in Blount County, Alabama.
She married John William Fendley on May 14, 1901 in Blount County, Alabama.[1] Their children were:
- Loudena Fendley
- Minnie Lee Fendley
- Doshia Fendley
- Ollie Mae Fendley
- Robert William "Rob" Fendley
- Anne Belle Fendley
- Ethel Fendley[2]
- Lillie Marie Fendley [3]
She died, at the age of 36, on April 22, 1916 in Locust Fork, Alabama. She is buried at the Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust Fork, Blount County, Alabama.[4]
