Biography
Calvin C. Tidwell was born in 1823 to Henry Tidwell and Mary Margaret (Evans) Tidwell in South Carolina.
He married Lydia Harriett Weston in 1847 in Marshall County, Alabama. Their children were:
- Harriet Tidwell
- John Weston Tidwell[1]
- Pleasant F. Tidwell
- Matilda Thurzenia Tidwell
- Mary Jane Tidwell[2]
He died, at the age of about 77, in 1900 in Blount County, Alabama.
