Biography
who is his father?
Robert has his mother's maiden name,; he was apparently living with his mother and her first husband Willard Densmore Wire in Saskatchewan, in the 1911 Census of Canada. Robert, his half-sister Winnie and their mother returned to the USA when Willard joined the Canadian Expeditionary Forces in 1915 where he was killed in France in 1917. Robert's mother married George Ferguson (1887 to 1981), who would have been too young to be Robert's father;
