Richard was born at Shoreditch in 1763 to Richard and Sarah Tinney.
His baptism was at Saint Leonard's Church on 27 February 1763. [1]
Richard Tinney and Mary Uncles were married at St Dunstan's, Stepney on May 16 1791.
Son George was born in 1782. Richard Tinney, was 19 and his wife, Mary (Uncles) Tinney, was 22.
Daughter Mary Uncles Tinney was born in 1802. Richard Tinney, was 39 and his wife, Mary (Uncles) Tinney, was 42.

In June 1837 Richard and Mary were deemed to be poor.
2 - 3 June 1837 parish of St Botolph Without Aldgate. Churchwardens and Oveseers of the Poor transfer Richard and Mary Tinney back to the parish of St Leonard, Shoreditch. At the time their address was 7 Walton's Court, Cartwright Street.
Richard's form states that he was legally married to Mary at Dunstan, Stepney about 52 years previously, which would be 1785. Further he states that from 1777 to 13 Oct 1783 he was an apprentice to John Troughton of Long Alley, Shoreditch as a looking glass frame maker.
They were transferred from the parish of St Botolph Without Aldgate by the Churchwardens and Oveseers of the Poor back to the parish of St Leonard, Shoreditch. [2]
1837 - 1838 Workhouse Admission and Discharge Records. He was admitted to the poor house aged 74 on 26 June 1837, and discharged 16 March 1838 . [3]
Upon his discharge from the work house, Richard Tinney died and was buried at St Leonard's, Shoreditch on 21 Mar 1838. His death record lists his address as Work House. [4]
