Biography

Alexander was born about 1836. He was the son of Joseph Tinney. He was a farmer.

He married Margaret Tinney on New Year's Day 1903. By 1911 they had had two children, both surviving.

He passed away in 1919.

Drumcarn is a townland in County Donegal in the Barony of Raphoe North and Parish of Raymoghy. The Parliamentary Division is East Donegal and it fell under the Poor Law Union of Letterkenny. The District Electoral Division (DED) was Kincraigy.
