Biography

John was born in 1826. He passed away in 1891. [1]

Listed in the 1860 Census of Echols County, Georgia, age 34.

Served as a Justice of Echols Inferior Court, 1863-1865, and as County Surveyor there 1879-1883.

He was a member of the Masonic order, with his membership in Alapaha Lodge No. 209, at Statenville. He received his degrees in 1886 and died a member.
