Elizabeth Townsend of Wales m. John Staunton, son of Thomas Staunton of Longbridge.[1][2]
They had the following children, including two sons named Thomas. [3]
Thomas the Elder, married Alice and had a son and heir Humphrey (d. 1616) and 4 daughters,
Thomas the younger, m (1) Susanna, widow of Thomas Fisher, m (2) Mary, eldest dau of George Padsey, and by her had at least one son, Thomas, who m a dau of Walter Washington.
Richard of Roxsall, m Isabell Ludford
Margaret who d. unm
Elizabeth, m. Simon Moy of Stoke.
Notes
Currently there's no citation for her parents Sir Robert Townsend and Alice Poppy so they are marked as uncertain. The visitation of Shropshire in 1623 doesn't have them having a daughter named Elizabeth. Not sure if they lived in "Wales" at any time but Robert was the Chief Justice of the Marches of Wales and Chester, based at Ludlow, the then administrative capital of Wales.

Hi Kirk, can you please tell me where on that page it states that Robert and Alice did not have a daughter named Elizabeth? All I see is that John Staunton married and Elizabeth Townsend of Wales. Thanks, Laura
