Jo[h]n, s. Will[iam], bp. 18: 7 m: 1642. c. R. 1. (Sept 18, 1642)[1]
John Trask and Abigaile Parkman, married 19: 12m: 1662.(Feb 19, 1662/3) in Salem.[2]
John Trask, widr., and Mary Dodg of Beverly, at Beverly, Oct. 30, 1690.[2]
11 JAN 1729, listed before, seems to be an incorrect date. John Trask of Salem left a will. The will was dated 1st day of November 1729. On Nov. 21, 1729, the witnesses to that will swore in court, that it was indeed signed by John Trask. An inventory was taken Jan. 1, 1729[/30]. So his death would be Nov 1729 in Salem, Massachusetts.
John Trask Sr. Bequeathes to son Nicholas Trask, all his land in Northfield and his fulling mill. Nicholas is to pay John's wife, Mary, 6 pounds per year as long as she remains a widow. Sons Nicholas and Elias get other land to be divided equally. Elias receives some other land and is to pay Mary Trask 40 shillings per year. He leaves son Jonathan Trask his homestead. Wife Mary is to be allowed use of the west end. Jonathan also receives John's half of his corn mill and the rights he has in the stream and pond. Jonathan is to pay 8 pounds per year to Mary. Daughter, Rebecca Boyce receives land. Daughter Jacobs receives 10 pounds. The wording suggests he has given her sufficient help while he was alive. He also mentions his kinsman Wm Trask. The will is signed with his mark.
