Sidy Emeline (Tubbs) Cranford was born on 11 Apr 1820 in Perry, Morgan, Ala., daughter of Daniel Lee Tubbs (1794 - 1882) and Matilda (Sanders) Tubbs (1800 - 1840).

Sidy married William Cranford (1818 - 1885) in 1849 in Mississippi, USA. Their children were: Mary E., Gerald Jeramiah, William Sharpy and Thomas Tommie F. Cranford.

  2. Charles Edwin Cranford (1861 - 1926).

Sidy died on 1 Sep 1895 in Handsboro, Mississippi, United States aged 75. She is buried in Covington County, MS.
