Sidy married William Cranford (1818 - 1885) in 1849 in Mississippi, USA. Their children were: Mary E., Gerald Jeramiah, William Sharpy and Thomas Tommie F. Cranford.

  2. Charles Edwin Cranford (1861 - 1926).

Sidy died on 1 Sep 1895 in Handsboro, Mississippi, United States aged 75. She is buried in Covington County, MS.
