The gravestone reads: Galen H Lull, Co H, 152 Reg', NY Vols 1833-1864; interred at Andersonville, GA; Mianda [sic] Tucker, his wife, 1829 - 1904
An obituary in "The Otsego Farmer" (Cooperstown, NY), Dec. 23, 1904, p. 3, writes that Mrs. Miranda Lull, a lifelong resident, died on Dec. 15, at age 75. The press describes her as "a most worthy woman, generous and kind hearted, whose life was filled with worthy acts." Her husband died during the Civil War at Andersonville Prison "where many noble lives were lost."
She was survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maryette Hyatt and Mrs. Eveline Perkins, a daughter, son and several grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Otsdawa church at 1 p. m. on Sunday.
Those attending included: J. Lee Tucker and Florena Hayward of Oneonta, Chancey L. Tucker and wife of Laurens, Miss Mary Hyatt, Mrs. P. A. Thorp, John Wade, Mrs. D. H. Washburn, Mrs. Daniel Wright, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Scofield, Lewis Johnson and wife, Dell Hendricks and wife of West Laurens. Interment was in the Hillington cemetery at Morris.
