Research Notes

Some say her maiden name is Buck. However, I can find no evidence of this. Her application for Veteran Widows Benefits based on his service in the war of 1812 says her maiden name is Turner. [7]

Hi Janne. I have poured over many sources, including the source tab on that link. However, I don't see any sources that prove her husband was Moses Turner. FindAGrave says her last name was Buck, but that is also unsourced. Can you please help me find a source and I will update her LNAB

The Fold3.com link in the sources says her maiden name is Turner and they married 28 Aug 1839. War of 1812 Pension and Bounty Land Warrant
