Biography

Joseph was born in 1803. He was the son of Jonathan Tuttle and Susan Bunker.

He married Sophia W. Steward (1803–1874). They had the following children:

Sophia Elizabeth S. Tuttle 1831–1907

Joseph S. Tuttle 1836–1909

Charles T. Tuttle 1840–1861

Lydia Annie Tuttle 1844–1900

Edward Tuttle

He passed away in 1879. Burial: Mount Rest Cemetery, Athens, Somerset County, Maine.
