Biography

Lydia was born on 18 July 1753 in Salisbury, Litchfield, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Thomas Tuttle and Lydia (Owen) Tuttle.[1]

Research Notes

Lydia was apparently the first born child of Thomas Tuttle and Lydia Owens, birth recorded in Salisbury. Jacobus cited above lists the marriage date and birthdate as entered here. This is not an "old-style - new-style" issue as that would make no difference. The marriage and birth occurred 5 months apart unless the original sources are in error.
