Ref 08.1. 1712 Will of Wm. Jones. Names son Henry. Ref 08.2. 1724 will of Henry's mother. Names Henry & Katherine. Ref. 08.3. 1733 will of Henry. Names Katherine and family. Ref. 08.4. Maps of southern Surry Co. Shows Jones family land. Ref. 08.5. Map of northern Surry Co. Shows Judkins home and Thomas Gray's land. Ref. 08.6. 1672 will of Samuel Judkins, Sr. [1]. It names wife Lidia and 3 sons Samuel, Jr. [2], Robert and Charles. Samuel, Jr was given Samuel, Sr.'s land. Ref 08.7. Samuel, Jr. [2] and Robert granted 200 a. on Gray's Creek. Ref. 08.8. Record shows Samuel, Jr. [2] and William Judkins and the 200 a. Ref. 08.9. Judkins Records show William was Robert's son. Ref. 08.10. Deed shows Henry, Katherine, William Dennis AND Samuel Judkins [3] JOINTLY sold 100 a. Called Grays to Thomas Crews. Ref. 08.11. Records search Shows Henry and William Dennis never owned land on Gray's Creek. So, the owners WITH Samuel Judkins [3] had to be Henry's WIFE and William's MOTHER, who HAD to be Samuel [3's] SISTERS.
