Although the original burial was in the old Cooper cemetery, the remains that could be found after a devastating hurricane occurred were then transferred from Flowers Bay to Coxenhole, Roatan for reburail. The only factual information available is that Kathrine and Samuel met in Belize. She was accompanying her sister on a voyage to help with the children. Her brother-in-law was the ship's master and the young couple subsequently eloped because the bride's family (her sister and brother-in-law) would not consent to the marriage.
