Biography
Ignace was born in 1748, baptized on October 7th in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière[1]. Ignace was the child of Joseph Vallancourt and Thérèse Martin.
He married Marie Élisabeth Paradis on 17 May 1773 in Kamouraska[2]
He remarried with Marie Catherine Lévêque on 9 July 1792 in Rivière-Ouelle[3]

Ignace, fils de Joseph Vaillancour (sic) et Marie Thérèse Martin, a été baptisé le 7 octobre 1748 à Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, le parrain a été Joseph Martin et la marraine Françoise Vaillancour.
Mariage le 17 mai 1773 à Kamouraska entre ignace vaillancour, fils de joseph vaillancour et marie thérèse martin, et marie elisabeth paradis veuve de feu jean baptiste hudon dit beaulieu [4] [5]
