Biography

Name: Louisa Hendricks /VanBoerum/[1]

Louisa, daughter of Hendrick Willemz and Maritie Adriaans, was baptized on 24 October 1680 in the Flatbush Dutch Church, Flatbush, Long Island, New York.[2][3]

Ledley and Moorehouse concluded that she was the Louisa who married Peter Monfort on 9 November 1702 based on the names of their children and the baptism sponsors for those children. [3]

The "Early Dutch Smiths And Van Boerums, Part II" article I included in the Sources makes a strong case that the Louisa, wife of Pieter, is Louisa Van Boerum, daughter of Hendrick Willemz Van Boerum and Maria Adrians.

Also, there is no evidence that Louisa moved to New Jersey, making her marriage to Pieter, son of Jan Pieterse Monfort, unlikely.
