Biography

John Alma Vance was born in 1855.

At the age of 10, he was baptized into the LDS church.[1]

In 1860, he lived with his family in Utah.[2]

In 1880, he was still single, living with his siblings and widowed mother in Alpine, Utah.[3]

JaAnna, I can find no evidence of the marriage with "E. Yeardsley", and I'm also having difficulty matching up all the attached children (many of which have only first initials) with the list of children derived from the census records. Can you help? Many thanks.

Update: I think a bad merge was done with John Alma Vance.

I've found that E. Yearsley was Emma Yearsley, that she married a Joseph Angus Vance (brother of John Alma Vance) by whom she had children that match those with initials here.
