The 1850 census shows Elijah Vardeman and Margaret (Holliday) Vardeman, in Copiah, Mississippi, with children: Jeremiah, John, Dewitt, Ayres, Anna, Sarah, and George.[1]

Saw a brief entry under WikiTree for Jeremiah H Vardeman. He and Sarah Elizabeth Cole had a daughter name Lela Ann Vardeman who married William Henry Latimer and they lived in the Mt Calm area in Hill County Texas.
