DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Henry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Henry:
I was going to do the merge you suggested then realized your Henry was the 2nd generation of Varnadoe that started in Dooley, Georgia. I show his birth around 1773 and his death as about 1854. He may have died in Liberty County, Georgia. His wife was named Elizabeth. There is a Nancy in Georgia lived to be 100 years of age. I want to know who she is. She might be this Henry's Mother.
Oh I looked again at this page. You are giving your Henry the birth date of Samuel Varnado Sr. Henry Varnadeau was actually born about 1746 or 1747 I believe. If you care to take the time to help me work through this problem the familysearch.com site has a book available online The HIstory of Orangeburg, South Carolina written by Salley which details church records for the births and christenings of Leonard and Sarah Varnadeau's children. I have never seen or heard of any Varnado-Varnadoe-Varnado from the 1700's being in Costa Rica, South Carolina. I requested information on those records some time ago from you. I understand you wanting to protect your lines. I want protection for mine also. Please work with me to get these lines fixed. In removing Samuel you detached a number of lines.
I dug out my big family binder and I just wanted to say I show the following children for Henry Varnadeau, son of Leonard Varnadeay and Sarah Hutto.
John Jackie, Elizabeth"Betsy", Eleanor Ellender, Joseph. Nancy, Allen, and Wesley. I further show that he died in Sept 6, 1840 in Dooly, GA buried in Owens Cemetery. I also show his wife as Elizabeth. I believe this is where our lines are crossed. The data you show for Samuel Sr is not the son of Henry but Leonard. Two different people born in different generations. Will you at least work with me on this and help the family lines be complete and correct. Thanks!
