Mary Vernon was born 4 Jun 1739 in Nottingham, Chester, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Isaac Vernon II and Hannah Townsend. She married John Hodgin on 2 May 1761 in Canes Creek, Alamance, North Carolina. Mary died some time after 1789 in Georgia after her husband John.
