Biography

Catherine was born in 1762. Catherine is listed, along with her parents Christophe James and Catherine Elizabeth Robar, in the "Montbélliard...[1] She passed away in 1861.

Research Notes

The only child for Catherine's family born in 1762 was Jane Elizabeth born June 15, 1762. [2] Jane Elizabeth married J. P. Leau. There are two Catherine Elizabeth's one, 1776, who died very young and the second who was born April 7, 1779 who married M. Cetier.

Vienot-34 and Vienot-2 appear to represent the same person because: Hello Brandon and Sherry,

There are many mix-ups but this one works out well. Her birth date is 1779 according to Punch in Montbéliard Emigrants. There is a Jane Elizabeth listed in the Shankle BMD listing for 1762, but she did not marry Certier (Sarty) This Catherine Elizabeth did. Please merge to help clear-up this issue. Mags
