In 1789, in Franklin county, Virginia, Susanna, married John Hale. [2] a son of Joeph P. Hale and Rachel Stockey Donelson. [3] Children of Susannah and John include:
William Nathan Hale born January 18, 1790, in Franklin county, Virginia, died January 7, 1880, buried in the Hale Cemetery, in Franklin county, Virginia, married Sarah Elizabeth Wade (1791-1862) [4]
Jesse Hale, born 1794, in Franklin county
Thomas Hale, born December 15, 1799, in Franklin county, died May 25, 1855, in Franklin county, married Anna Troup, born 1803, a daughter of Henry Troup and Dorothea Wade
James Hale, born 1802, in Virginia, died between 1875 and 1880, in Floyd county, Kentucky
Jesse Hale, born circa 1805
Rachel Hale, married Fleming Janney, on October 7, 1824, in Franklin county, Virginia. Flemming is the son of Moses Janney and Margaret Dixon. [5]
Susan (Wade) Hale died in 1847 and is buried in the Hale Cemetery, in Ferrum, Franklin county, Virginia [6]
