Lucia, daughter of Peleg and Lusanna (Sampson) Wadsworth, was born in Duxbury, MA on January 25, 1753. She married Joseph Smith of Pembroke, MA on August 20, 1771. They resided in Pembroke where she gave birth to two children, Joseph and Sylvanus, before her death on March 18, 1780 at the age of 27 years, 1 month, 22 days. She is buried at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
Lucia is a descendant of Mayflower passengers John Alden, Priscilla Mullins, William Mullins, and Henry Sampson.
