Juanita was the daughter of Levi and Jenny (Passino) Wakeford, born 29 February 1908. ^{[1] [2]} She was a graduate of Pontiac High School. ^[3]

She was married seven times, to: John Davis Monroe, M.D., John Fuzey, Alvin Lincoln Pierce, Charles Archer, Oliver Walter, William Common and Ira Odle. ^{[4] [5]}

She died 3 January, 1995, at Pontiac, Michigan, at the age of 86. ^[6]
