In her autobiography, Christina wrote that she and her husband George Loesch came to Tulpehocken with their first child in 1723. It was all wilderness then, she wrote.[1]
Anna Christina and her husband George wife were admitted to fellowship in the Moravian Church and were instrumental in founding congregations at Heidelberg Township, Quittopeihille (now Lebanon), Nazareth and Bethlehem in PA, and also in Bethania, NC.
The old George Lesches sold their home in Berks Co and removed to Gnadenthal near Nazareth, Northampton Co, PA, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary 15 Dec 1771.
3 Dec 1720: Marriage of Görg Lösch to Anna Christina Walborn. 9 children are recorded in the baptismal records of Reed's church:
Maria Elizabeth b 12 Feb 1728. Sponsors were Martin Batdorf and his wife. She joined the Moravians, did not marry, and spent her life in service to the church. She left a diary that can be found at the Moravian Archives.
