Elizabeth Walker was born in Georgia about 1834. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Walker and Nancy Dowling. In 1850 she was 16 and living with them in Ware County, Georgia.[1]
Fannie S. Hardee's husband was Oscar Davis Hardee, not Oscar David Hardee as is also reported incorrectly in some documents. She (my grandmother) died during my lifetime and I have visited the graves of both Fannie S. and Oscar Davis Hardee several times in the Methodist Cemetery, in Hardeetown (adjacent to Chiefland), Levy County, Florida.
