According to Huxford, Isham Walker was an early citizen of Camden County, Georgia. He came to Georgia and located in Camden County about 1793, and lived there until shortly before his death on Nov. 2, 1838, his last few years being spent in Thomas County, GA.
He married Civility Jones, born 9/24/1777, on October 11, 1797. She died on Feb. 12, 1832. Isham and Civility had eight children together: Mary, James, Susannah, Civility, Isham, Matilda, Fleming Bates, and Margaret Isham and his wife were charter members of Old Sardis Primitive Baptist Church in the present Charlton Co. when it was organized in 1819.

Note, this Isham Walker is not to be confused with another family of Isham Walker, who lived in South Carolina, married Eliza Heir, and remained in South Carolina.
