Biography

Catherine Walter died young.

This is a disputed child. I have nothing that shows Adam had a twin sister. But some members of GenVerrE have her listed as a child with the same birth year as Adam. I include her here in case this is correct.

In any case she would have died as a result of starvation due to the 30 years war. Or she died before her mother went to Strasbourg to buy bread for the children. See the mother's bio for the longer story, but since Adam is specifically mentioned as surviving because he went with his mother as he had not yet been weaned, it makes a twin sister very suspect unless she died soon after birth.
