Biography
Albert was born February 5, 1845. He is the son of Nicholas Walter and Catherine Olsommer. Family note and 1900 census show February 1845 tombstone shows Feb 5, 1844 sources are in disagreement.
Research Notes
- Albert's brother Emile Walter was born in Sep 1845 according to his death certificate. In the 1860 Census, Albert is about 2 years older than Emile so it is most likely that his tombstone is correct and he was born in 1844.
