Biography

Charles Ward was born about 1839. He was the son of Job Ward, a farmer, and his wife Susanna. He was christened on 24 Jun 1838 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

In 1841 the family was in King's Norton, Worcestershire.

In 1851 Charles was an apprentice chain maker in Rowley Regis, Staffordshire.

Marriage on January 1861 • Dudley, Staffordshire. Charles was a chain maker.

Charles passed away in 1912.
