Ephraim was born about 1793. He is the son of William Ward and Jane Watson. He passed away about 1868. [1]

Ephraim was born on Black Lick in what became Wythe county, Virginia. He was one of seven known children born of William Ward and Jane Watson. He was a Doctor. He married Nancy Unknown with whom he had at least five children. [2]

Ephraim Ward was living in Wythe, Virginia, United States with his wife and children and an elderly woman probably a mother or mother in law. He had 23 slaves ranging from 50+ to many under 10. Eight individuals were employed in agriculture. His immediate household consisted of the following:
