Buried at Shady Grove Cemetary, Science Hill, Pulaski County, Kentucky
His mother, Sophia was originally married to John Ashley Warren. She had 3 children with him. He was killed when a horse fell on him crushing him to death. After that, Sophia lived with & had several children with John Barber.
After living w/John for several years & having children by him, she finally married him in October 1892.
John Marion Barber's children took the last name of Warren because that was Sophia's married name.
