From Warrens and related families of North Carolina and Virginia.[1]
Thomas Warren Senior's youngest daughter, Rosanna, married Robert Moore, the son of Samuel and Rachel Moore, neighbors to Thomas; the wedding date is unknown. In August 1741 Robert's mother Rachel was entangled in a law suit brought by John Wynil Sanders against William Smither. A jury awarded Sanders eight pounds current money. The court ordered the sheriff to sell at auction several items of Smither's which Rachel had delivered to former sheriff Larkin Chew Jr. — yarn for knit stockings, an old bridle, three shoe lasts, a pocket compass, and several other things. Why Rachel was in possession of these goods is unknown.
In April 1746 Rosanna Moore testified on behalf of her first cousin John Warren in a suit for slander brought by Margaret Ship against John. The trial was held at the courthouse in Fredericksburg and apparently was continued through three monthly court sessions. The court ordered John to pay Rosanna 75 pounds of tobacco for three days attendance. The outcome of the trial, perhaps the most significant personal event in John Warren's life, is discussed later.
Joseph Carter charged John Farish, John Carter, and Larkin Johnston with assault and battery in a trial held in Fredericksburg on Tuesday, 3 July 1750. John Farish is believed to have been William Warren Senior's son-in-law. Members of the Warren families were involved in the trial. Plaintiff Carter called as witnesses Robert Moore, Thomas Estes, John Smith, George Chapman, and Nicholas Horn. The defendants called James Warren, John Chapman, Robert Durrett, Robert Huddleston, and John Page. Robert Huddleston Jr. was called by Carter but did not appear. The court fined the reluctant witness 350 pounds of tobacco for not obeying the summons. The jury found the defendants "not guilty."
In April 1751, following the death of Thomas Warren Sr. in the previous year, Thomas Warren Jr. deeded to his younger brother Lancelot 210 acres which he (Thomas Jr.) as oldest son had inherited by law from his father. Rosanna's husband Robert Moore witnessed the deed. Later in 1751 Robert Moore died, leaving a will which named four sons: Samuel, John, Robert, and Thomas. Thomas was a baby not yet baptized. Robert's mother Rachel and Rosanna were executors of the estate. The land was divided among the three oldest sons. John Farish, William Waller, and Elizabeth Couzins witnessed Robert's will.
It is believed that Rosanna's and Robert Moore's son Robert moved to Halifax County in later years and continued to be closely associated with his Warren relatives. In the Spotsylvania records, Rosanna's name was sometimes written as "Roxanna."
Roxann was born about 1700. She passed away in 1774.

DNA seems to indicate that these are two different people. Both Warren and Moore are very common names.
