Dunstable parish register only starts in 1558 so all vital events need other sources, which to date are conspicuously absent.
The biography of his alleged father lists 14 children, but there's no William. It's telling that William's birthplace is given as Dunstable whereas the other children are all born in Cheshire in the north of England. Unless evidence can be given showing that he was the son of Lawrence I propose that he be detached from his parents.
