Joseph was born in 1807. Joseph Warren ... He passed away in 1886.
Maternal line
The identity of Joseph’s mother has not yet been established. Many online genealogies have Mary Graves listed as his mother, but this appears to be erroneous. It is probable that Hackley Warren, his father, was married previously.
There are several facts which support this hypothesis. One is the fact that Hackley was twenty years older than Mary Graves. Another is that Hackley’s children were born in two evident clusters:
1. Rebecca and Joseph, born between 1803-1807
2. Reuben, Sarah, John, Sanders, William, Hannah, Mary, Benjamin, and David, born between 1821-1839
The spread between the two clusters is fourteen years. Also, for Mary Graves to have been the mother of Rebecca (Warren) Ross, she would have been only eleven years old when Rebecca was born.
DNA analysis has shown Hackley to be the father of all of them, but further analysis, which is ongoing, will hopefully determine the mother of Rebecca and Joseph.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
