Thomas was born in 1821 in Yorkshire, England. Thomas was baptised on 29 July 1821 in Laughton-en-le-Morthen, York, England. He was the son of William Wasden and Mary Ann Penniston.[1]
In 1841 Thomas was a 20 year old servant living at Aston With Aughton, Yorkshire, England[2]
Thomas married Mary Caucom on December 6, 1841 at Rotherham Minster, Rotherham, Yorkshire, England. [3]
In 1851 they live at Aston cum Aughton. Yorkshire, England They had five children.[4]
In 1855 Mary and Thomas, along with seven of their children sailed from Liverpool, England on the William Stetson bound for the United States. They arrived in New York on 28 May 1855.[5]
The 1860 United States Federal Census finds them living at Fort Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah Territory. Thomas is listed as a farmer and they have seven children. [6]
The family eventually settled at Scipio, Millard, Utah Territory, and they are found there in 1870 and 1880.[7][8]
Thomas was buried on 20 April 1891 in Gunnison Cemetery, Gunnison, Sanpete, Utah.[9][10]
