Biography

John Watkins was born in 1655 in Henrico, Virginia, his father, Henry, was 18 and his mother, Katherine, was 13. He married Elizabeth Spencer in 1680 in Essex, Virginia. They had one child during their marriage. He died in 1744 in his hometown, having lived a long life of 89 years.
