Muriel was born about February 1904 in Newark, Nottinghamshire [1]. She was the daughter of Frederick Henry Watson and Nellie Ann Ward. Her early years were spent with her parents in Grantham [2][3]. As a young woman she worked as a shop assistant.
In about July 1928 Muriel married Henry Thomas Ralph in Grantham, Lincolnshire. She was aged 24 years 5 months [4].
Muriel died not long after her marriage on the 15th April 1930 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. She was aged just 26 years 3 months. [5]
