Mark Watson, b. 1698, was the son of Thomas Watson and Rebecca Marks.

"Mark Watson, son of Thomas & Rebecca (Mark) Watson, b. ca. 1698, Eng., d. 1749, Pa.; m. 1729, Ann Sotcher, dau. of John & Mary (Lofty) Sotcher of Bristol Twp., Pa.; res. Strawberryhow, Oxford, Falls Twp., Bucks Co., Pa.; 8 ch." ^[1]

On 23 Apr 1729 Mark married Ann Sotcher, the daughter of John Sotcher at the Falls Monthly Meeting^[2] Mark died in 1749, his will being proved on 9 Feb 1749. Along with his wife Ann, 8 children were named- Benjamin, Ann, Joseph, Mark, Amos, Rebecca, Deborah and Isaac.^[3]
